Pastor Jeremy Fort

I love talking to people deepening our understanding of what it means to be human in a messy world. I am endlessly fascinated with Hebrew scriptures and love to pique people's curiosity about The Bible. My greatest passion is to help people understand the ancient scriptures and how they lead to the story of Jesus. I have served as the Pastor of Valley Christian Church in Twin Falls, Idaho for the latest decade and am pursuing my Master's degree in Biblical Studies from Redemption Seminary.

I am an Associate Scholar in the Hebraic Context of the Bible at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies, including Biblical Hebrew at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I completed 15 credit hours of Hebrew and Aramaic and have independently taught Hebrew for a year. I am currently enrolled in Greek at the same university.

I first fell in love with Israel when my wife Kara and I visited in 2018. From the village of Nazareth to the Mount of Olives, Ancient Shilo to The Temple Mount, seeing the sacred land where God performed miracles through Abraham, Moses, and Jesus captivated me in a whole new way. This journey sparked an educational interest in Ancient Near East civilizations, fueling language studies of Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. As I continue to learn, I want to share my knowledge and engage others in understanding the meaning behind ancient scriptures and what they mean for a modern faith.
